Scarlett Johansson said Open AI used her voice for their new ChatGPT voice assistance ”sky voice”. She is taking action to Open AI revealing a secret about this voice and how they developed this. She said Mr Altman offered her to give her voice to their chatbot, and she refused to take it. But Open AI developed a voice that sounded like her voice with the help of an AI assistant.
Scarlet heard a voice similar to her when the company released their new demo voice for chatGPT. She said when i heard sky voice, I was shocked at how the voice sounded similar to mine. Further, no one can tell the difference between the sky voice and Scarlet Johansson’s voice.
OpenAI removed the sky voice when she started acting on it with her lawyer’s help. Mr Altman began tweeting and said the similarity was just for the sake of teasing her and used the word ‘’HER’’ in his statements.
Scarlet said in September, Mr Altman contacted her to give her voice to the new chatbot. He said I want to give your voice that can remove the gap between the tech companies and the creators. Mr Altman wants to give his company a synthetic voice. This gap removal could help their customers and provide comfort between the seismic teams and AI. Altman also told Scarlet that her voice could satisfy and comfort people. But the scarlet could not accept that offer for personal reasons.
Johansson said just before the releasement of the new Chatgpt 4o model, MR Altman appealed to her again through team and assistant. They could not contact each other because of a company’s new publicity announcement about its latest product, Splashy, in which the voice was similar to hers.

The Sky’s voice looks similar to that of the Film “Her, ” in which Scarlet gives an enthusiastic voice to the virtual assistant played by Joaquin Phoenix, who falls in love with the assistant.
Mr Altman emailed the press association and said Open AI hired a voice actor for Sky before reaching Johansson.
Altman said the sky voice is not the voice of Scarlet, and it could not put a resemblance with her voice. But in her respect, we stopped the voice. The open AI San Francisco introduces the capabilities of ChatGpt voice which five combination voices include. It helps users to engage in conversation with AI assistants easily. The pro voice mode can only subscribe to those who paid for it. The chatbot gets advanced, like its creative AI model that can tell about a person’s mood through their voice. The new open AI model is faster than their previous models.
This incident led to questions about the ethical concentration that could use people’s voices through AI and the growing AI world’s role in protecting human rights.
